Entire Movies at a Glance
A blog called movie bar code shows images comprised of thin, vertical lines compressed from each frame of a movie. You get a sense of the overall color and feel of a movie. Plus, they are stunning to look at.

Type Casting
I found this article really interesting and thought I would pass it on. I know it might sound like really elementary stuff but these are the foundations from which we design.

I had Fun
I have a hard time choosing just one design project that I enjoyed working on, it's like picking a favorite kid. Every project has come with an extreme range of emotions, from immense frustration to pure excitement. One of the most satisfying projects was the Killer Bee wine bottle. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process. Plus, I tend to shine on projects that require hands on work and impeccable craftsmanship.
My Favorite Project in Graphic Design
I have more than one favorite project. My first favorite was Intro to Graphic Design's Event Poster I did for Opera Night Club: http://mistymarquis.carbonmade.com/projects/2736303#4
It was a whole conglomerate of experimental pieces. I had never made an event poster before, I had never taken a professional photo-shoot before, and I had never made a theatrical mask either.. but in the end I had a lot of fun putting this project together and generated some fond memories.
My other favorite was the semester long re-branding project for Intermediate Graphic Design. http://mistymarquis.carbonmade.com/projects/2734856#1 This project taught me a lot about time management, and heavy strategic planning.

Graphic Design is Fun! ;)
One moment in which I had an exciting "a-ha!" feeling during a project was while I worked on the wine bottle redesign for Stan. Nearing completion of the project I felt that my vision was clear and I was certain where I was headed, which made me feel closer to/more passionate about the project.

Fun Design Moment In History
I designed a large-scale mythical hybrid animal that coved my entire bedroom wall. it was an OCTOCORN, half unicorn, half octopus. it was epic.
My fav project.
My favorite project was the branding project where I rebranded Woodfire Grill. It was interesting to work with one client for an extended period of time and create a look for a company. I really like the direction that I went with my work and I feel that the resulting design was so much better and more in line with who they are and what their values are.
X-Height Typeface Book
One of my favorite pieces that I worked on was an Typeface book on the Helvetica Neue font family. In order to display the beauty of this typeface I made a historical book on the history of X-height. The experience was satisfying because it taught me the power of type and how many things it could truly do.
Fun Design - Tyler Willis
The most fun I have had working on a project was definitely the type specimen booklet I did in advanced type. I really loved working with the letter forms, not having to worry about any copy. I was really able to get into the beauty of the letter forms and use them in a bunch of creative ways. Not only was it the most fun project to work on but I believe it was one of my best pieces.
Tiffany's most fun design moment
One of my most fun design moments was when I took photos for my Alternative Press re-design project. I got to work with my friend Miranda as a model, so it made working on it fun. I really enjoyed art directing and styling the wardrobe for the photos.
Fun Project
The flash game in Multimedia Design was pretty fun. I learned a whole lot of stuff about Flash programming and got to do some cool illustration, too. It was fun to break out and do something more story oriented as opposed to advertising oriented.
